Inner Evolution of the Emotional Model:
        From Conservation to Independence

(By Alberto Bonizzato – Behavioral Coach)

The Deconstruction of Maslow's Typologies and the Reverse Engineering of Projective Mechanics

Within the POMM (Perspective of Observation of Mind Mechanics) framework, the well-being of the individual does not coincide with the simple absence of problems, but with a precise functional milestone: Emotional Independence. This condition must never be confounded with insensitivity or affective isolation; conversely, it is the metabolic capacity to remain un-bound to the pressures and expectations of the entourage through a crystal-clear comprehension of one's own projective mechanisms. It is the capacity to experience interpersonal relations without inhibitions or structural limitations.

To be emotionally independent means to recognize precisely how one's own system of projections contaminates relationships, and to possess the technical tools required to correct those behaviors that are non-utilitarian to the organism's homeostatic balance. It is not an idealistic quest for perfection, but the acquisition of the capacity to integrate one's own functional deficits (lacune) and to autonomously regulate one's behavioral updates when confronted with the events of life.

1. The Paradox of Conservative Adaptation

The Emotional Model is a biomechanical system engineered to transmit itself across generations and maintain a state of constant adaptation relative to the environment. However, it is structurally vital to comprehend that this adaptation is not evolutionary in nature, but strictly conservative.

The adult mental vehicle does not pursue "improvement" or "growth" in an abstract sense; it pursues the systemic replication of what is known and habitual. It frequently transpires that we consciously attempt to improve our condition, yet this representation occurs solely as a superficial, fragmented epifenomenon within the cognitive plane. The foundational, subcortical emotional structure lacks this capacity entirely.

To this biological inertia, the percussive formatting of the cognitive apparatus and collective culture—with its moral grids and stereotypes—is applied. The Emotional Model builds an adaptation that is strictly congruent with the individual's baseline degree of dependence or independence, driving the organism to chase exactly what the representations acquired in early infancy established as "necessary." We are, in objective terms, pre-programmed to reproduce the familial matrix entirely independent of our rational volition.

2. The Deconstruction of Human Needs: Beyond Maslow

Within this rigid mechanical framework, Abraham Maslow’s celebrated hierarchy of needs is radically called into question. Within the POMM framework, the so-called "human needs" are not primary biological elements, but secondary derivations manufactured by the emotional system itself. The hunt for social validation, the conceptualization of security, and other similar drives are induced cultural superstructures.

The exact millisecond an individual becomes technically conscious of their own projective processes, the objectification of these needs collapses. They reveal themselves to be nothing more than the mechanical consequence of the friction that familial relational pressures and societal stereotypes generate within the system.

To confound the need with the origin of behavior means to confound the terminal effect with the primary cause. Although the vast majority of human actors execute actions driven by these needs, they remain completely ineffectual variables for anyone intending to map the real mechanics of the mind: the true driving engine resides exclusively in primary emotional dynamics, while needs are merely their visible, projective manifestations translated into social symbols and meanings.

3. "Reverse Engineering" of Experience

Because the human machine cannot directly manipulate primary emotions (Fear and Evolutionary Curiosity)—which operate at an archaic, subcortical, and non-conscious level—the only functional pathway toward evolution is to intervene directly upon the projections whose presence and somatic effects we can actively isolate. We can re-route the kinetic trajectory of primary emotions through a precise protocol of reverse engineering applied to experience:

We technically identify and decode the active projection being executed on the field.

We strip the current, lived experience of its moralistic and dramatized coloring.

The raw experience, thus modified, acts retroactively upon the primary subcortical engine, gradually updating and transforming the baseline emotional dynamic.

By controlling the experience and its sensory interpretation, we can partially, yet significantly, alter the primordial source of the entire system.

4. Well-Being and the "Matrix" of Suffering

Cultural programming conditions us to partition emotions into moralistic categories of "positive" or "negative," yet biological reality rejects this metric. Primary emotions are a binary system of polarization calibrated to enforce the homeostatic conservation of what has been historically learned.

The authentic barrier to well-being resides in the fact that, frequently, pain and distress are integral components of this internal homeostasis. The mind can project a condition of severe relational malaise that, in reality, operates with perfect utility to satisfy the automated, learned schemas of the model.

Viewed through this perspective, victimistic processes are not "pathologies" to be eradicated; they represent the spontaneous, functional solution implemented by the system to satisfy non-conscious requirements that, if analyzed through logical cognitive metrics, would appear entirely absurd.

Every individual lives submerged within this internal theater—a literal emotional "Matrix" where suffering operates as the primary identity stabilizer of the un-updated model. To evolve mandates the structural courage to break this homeostatic coherence, pursuing a clean independence that allows the organism to recalibrate the efficacy of its existence entirely outside the pre-set transgenerational tracks.
