The self-image, far from being a mere abstract concept or an idealistic psychological construct, represents the concrete operational platform upon which the unconscious behavioral choices of the individual are articulated. It functions as the central load-bearing structure through which personal value is computed and where the baseline schemas of presupposition that guide human action reside. This subcortical representation does not coincide with the deliberately exhibited social façade, but constitutes its deep, driving engine.

Conversely, an organism attempting to compensate for an structural identity void through an inflated, hyper-compensatory self-valuation will terminate by projecting a character mask of superiority or artificial security that lacks any authentic biological foundation. In this scenario, the communicative kinematics emerge as fundamentally dissonant and forced, triggering an immediate subcortical arousal of annoyance or distrust within the interlocutor.

The terminal output is an inevitable failure within social interactions: the entourage reacts not to the advertised value, but to the metric incoherence of the emitted signal, paradoxically reconfirming the subject's primary sense of isolation.

The self-image is continuously fueled by a compulsive metabolic need to measure the individual’s degree of adequacy against an abstract, socially manufactured standard of presumed "normalcy."
